Hello Cytoscape,

I'm looking for weighted biological(probably gene networks) and other weighted graph data sets(any domain) whose min./max spanning tree based on the edge weights would be significant. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Srikanth.B.

Hi Srikanth,
Well, I'm not sure about relevance, but you could certainly use AP-MS derived PPI data, which would have weighted edges.  The data from Collins, et. al. 2007 is one I often play with.  You can pull down a cytoscape network of that data from the supplementary materials in: http://www.nature.com/nprot/journal/v9/n11/abs/nprot.2014.164.html

Hi Scooter,

Thanks for the dataset. Faizaan and I have implemented minimum spanning tree algorithms in Cytoscape and currently looking for some data sets in any domain. Please do let me know if you come across any such use cases anytime!

Thanks,
Srikanth.B.
