Dear Oregon State Parks Customer,

The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department is seeking public comment on proposed amendments to Oregon Administrative Rule 736-015-0015.

The department is considering the following changes:

  • Changing the reservation window from 2 days to 1.
  • Allowing customers to cancel reservations online without having to e-mail or call the call center.
  • Changing the cancellation window for deluxe yurts and cabins, and horse camps from one month to 3 days.
  • Changing reservation procedures for groups by increasing the number of sites from 10 to 20, removing the $8 fee waiver and $8 cancellation fee, and requiring submission of individual site occupant information to the department two months before the group’s arrival date.

There are three opportunities to make public comment on the proposed rule changes:
