Hi everyone,

Cursive 1.9.1-eap2 is out, fixing various bugs. The most important two were that the REPL namespace was displayed incorrectly when using the “Send form to REPL” action variants, and that the new socket REPL integration didn’t show errors during form evaluation correctly. There are also various fixes to quick doc formatting and a couple of other fixes too.

One that doesn’t appear in the issue list is that Maven Central doesn’t allow http:// connections as of Jan 15, and now requires https://. There were a couple of places where Cursive had http:// repo locations hardcoded in the source. The most obvious of these affects Windows users trying to set up deps using the “Use tools.deps directly” option - that had stopped working. The other thing that is affected is setting up a Clojure project without using a dependency management system, which basically no-one does.

Here are the issues:

  • Docstrings have their initial indent removed #2300
  • ClojureDocs examples are not correctly escaped #2299
  • Remote socket REPL doesn’t handle errors correctly #2298
  • CLJC doc lookup fix doesn’t work when caret is at end of element #2288
  • When converting file type using File | Convert To…, symbols are unresolved #2287
  • Incorrect REPL NS handling when using “Send form to REPL” variants #2286

Cheers,
Colin
