Hi everyone,

1.5.0-eap5 is out now! It’s a bugfix release, fixing one serious performance degradation and also fixing a problem with REPL commands when executing the previous command. I’ve also slightly re-worked the project creation wizard flow to make the UI a bit clearer, which also helped work around a nasty deadlock at startup due to the way IntelliJ components are initialised. I’ve also finally bundled the licence files for my library dependencies with the build of Cursive, which is something I should have done a long time ago.

Also, final reminder that now that IntelliJ 2017.1 has been released, the 1.5.x releases of Cursive will be the last which support IntelliJ v15.

Here are the issues:

Deadlock on IntelliJ startup 1702
100% CPU usage in REPL server 1701
Don’t warn about unindexed repos when they have sync errors 1695
REPL Commands - Execute Last Command in same context 1693
Arity Exception when loading REPL 1681

Cheers,
Colin

Hi Dan,

Can you check for automatically generated thread dumps as described here?

If you want to downgrade, download the previous EAP from here and use Settings->Plugins->Install from disk…

Cheers,
Colin

I see the same issue here. IntelliJ 2017.1.1, Mac OS X. I start a lein REPL and it hangs IntelliJ hard at "Finished, saving caches..."

Downgrading to previous EAP fixes it.

Thanks for the report everyone, I’ve pulled this EAP from the repo until I can figure out what’s going on.
