Whats the use of maintaining multiple/separate Runnertest files in cucumber

I have 3 feature files. Each has different tags across them.

Is it good idea to have separate test file to run different Tags?

Through single RunnerTest file we can run multiple features in cucumber. Then what's the use of creating multiple and separate Test files.
