Hello, I am converting queries to CitusDB and have a number of "derived tables" (or "inline views").  For most DBMSes this is a simple transformation but it strikes me there may be a complication to this in CitusDB.  Does anyone have information on whether this syntax carries a performance penalty in CitusDB?

Hey Andrew

Your question is being handled by Citus support.

Hello

It might be possible to re-write the query to remove inline views. Could you clarify the nature off view a bit ? Does it contain a join, aggregation ?  How many inline views are there ? etc.

We can talk about performance implications once we know more about the query.
