No, they don't exist. The good news is that the WDM drivers for Win2k (?)
will work.

What I don't understand is why the old drivers for the Dxr2 work on XP
while the Dxr3 doesn't have the same capability. I'm sure it would
save a lot of hassle for the consumers. How hard would it be to
release a piece of programming allowing XP to at least detect and run
the Dxr3, especially when they can use the previous drivers as a
basis?

The Dxr2 and 3 are substantially different. The overlay is done completely
differetnyl with the Dxr2, that is one of the reasons that they have been
able to use the Win2K drivers. One of the hurdles for the Dxr3 is the way
that XP handles analog overlays, in a word poorly. MS completely re-wrote
some of that code, and now the mpeg decoder card manufacturers that heavily
rely on the analog overlay had to scramble to try and patch something
together to make it work. Sigma has released several versions of drivers
for Win2K/XP, but are still fighting the reliability issues.

Ah, makes sense, I guess. At least on MS's part. Although,
electronics are not my forte, so I'll take your word on how the DVD
works with all its cables and stuff.

Uh Bullshit BIZ the work the same way! Via Direct Draw Overlay.
The reason why the Dxr2 works well in Win2k and WinXP is simply
because it, unlike the Dxr3 has .wdm Drivers. Which as most People
know by now in universal with ALL WINDOWS OS's form Win98(SE)
and better....

The Dxr3 unfortunately (at least as far as Creative is concerned), does not
have such Drivers as of yet. It still uses the Virtual Device Drivers. (i.e. .vxd)...
