After a few hours of rain, too much wind, no wind, rain, no wind it finally backed down from too much wind. It was still a bit too North on the first launch attempt which resulted in a busted down tube which was promptly replaced. Steve C. broke the seal after another small cell passed and went up on an elevator. Rick L. launched next and had no troubles. I launched after that and had a nice 2 hour flight. The wind turned almost due West so lift was everywhere. I spent the last 25 minutes of my flight with my bar stuffed just zooming around the ridge past the sewage plant on the way to Happy Camp. I think 3 or 4 hangs and at least 4 bags flew. Good day before the rain showed back up!

Wonderful to see everyone and finally fly. Thought you might enjoy the pic Meeky took me and my kit about to leave the farm Saturday morning and one Gregg took of me headed back home Sunday.
