Pilots today included Nick B, Andrew P, Rob S, Alan F, Pat J, Mike C, John B, Kelly and students, and me. It was clear at the farm but I could see that launch would still be in the
clouds when many of us arrived - had my lights and wipers on en route. Dropping Rob's rig off at the lz allowed us to see that the radar was right - open patches of sky in every direction but one - and it looked like that would change soon. It did. Rob, Andrew, and I thought it might be working just as the fog was being blown out - so we launched. We were right. Great flight until squall line fear motivated an early termination at Hang LZ after about 40 minutes. Got just a bit damp. Headed back up and had another nice long flight. Non of us ever did get all that high or go all that far but I sure saw lots of smiling faces at the end of the day.
