Actually soarable from much earlier, I launched at 9 am but I suspect it was on early but I let Patti Fujii and Jim Wagner sleep a little before I insisted it was time for flying not eating breakfast.
It is good to have friends that will put up with you. Which really sums up the flying community! Great weekend with great people!

Well today I think we set the record for flights at CLO. It was definately a record for the number of cars parked around Andersons launch. Soarable from ~10 am to 5pm, with wide lift bands. Cloudbase was low and pilots had to work to stay under it.
A few wings in the salal at launch and there is a blue and white wing hanging in a tree 1/4 mile south of launch. We got the pilot and harness down, but the wing will need a pro tree guy. (Sam, Seward?) It is damaged but needs to come down, as it is an eyesore visible from the beach.

Over 80 pilots on Sat had between 1 and 16 flights. No doubt the most flights ever in one day at O. It was sunny and warm in the afternoon, many flew in just T shirts! Lots of tandem flights. The banquet had over 100 for dinner.
Sunday: NW 10 forecast for CLO in the afternoon with some sun! Rain tonight.
