Weather Station Update:

HOLLY S*^t !  This has been a painful process.  Turns out the problem was a non functioning RJ11 to Serial connector sent by Davis to connect the console to the TNC.  I know its all goboldy gook to you all, but the news is, IT'S FINALLY WORKING!!!!   Yay!!!(this is the correct spelling according to Oxford dictionary for joyous interjection that starts with "Y" and sounds like "day")

So, while right now it is showing its at cliffside, it's not really there.  It's in my living room while I've been trouble shooting the problems.  

So, what's next?  I need to get the mast in the ground, solar panel and solar charger set up and install the thing.  The plan will be to have the station up in the next 2-3 weeks.  Then we will have to talk about it, but I think we can put a widget on the CPC website that shows the weather for Cliffside.  Perhaps on the home page or just on the cliffside page.  It is visible online currently at aprs.fi.  go to address and enter "Rufus" then scroll up the map to where launch is.  I'll leave it up for the rest of the day if you want to look.
