DB access available during compaction?

Hello,

Could someone please confirm that database access is still available when any of the compaction & cleanup options are in effect? In other words, would database availability be interrupted if any of the compaction & cleanup options is active at any given time?

Bucket availability isn't affected by compaction - it's an online operation. Depending on your workload / dataset the compaction process may have an impact on the latency of operations, and this is the main reason why there are options to control when it runs.
