etcd key length

hi,

is there a maximum size for a key in etcd? i tried to use ssh public-keys as the key in etcd but they are cut off. as a workaround i use a fingerprint, but i would find it better to use the key value direct.

While it is DEFINITELY not recommended I've used 1Mb base64 _values_, but as for the _key_ itself I haven't personally tested that.
