Hello CoreOS Dev-

I thought some of you might find this document interesting. Essentially it is outlining how we are thinking about running the Kubelet under a rkt container and how we plan to upgrade it over time. This comes out of work that we have been collaborating with upstream Kubernetes on.

Cheers,

Brandon

I'm really happy to see this proposal because it provides a clear story for cluster upgrades. And I think the idea itself is brilliant.

Are you interested in help from the community to move forward with this proposal? If so I'm interested in contributing if I can. I'm not sure how best to make that happen.

Thanks,
brian

Hey Brian-

This work is largely happening upstream and much of it is working today. If you are interested in hearing more on a regular basis join the Kubernetes SIG Cluster Lifecycle meetings, slack channel, and mailing list: https://github.com/kubernetes/community/tree/master/sig-cluster-lifecycle

Cheers,

Brandon
