coreos and etcd 0.4.8

Hi All,

I just downloaded the stable vesion for coreos - but I noticed the version is 0.4.8

Reading the documentations i see there is etcd version 2.0

Q1: is 2.0 not the stable version? if not when do we expect to see it ?

Q2: if its stable - then can anyone update the coreos (stable version)?

Another Qs:

Q3: does 0.4.8 support etcd2? although cloud-config validator says my file is OK

when trying:

coreos-install -d /dev/sda -C stable -c cloud-config

I get this error message:

line 191: warning: unrecognized key "etcd2"

Bug /or new feature?

0.4.8 does not support etcd2, because etcd2 means etcd v2.x.x

If you use current stable you can't use etcd2 in the yaml file.

Not sure when it will get into stable, what I gathered is 'soon'. :)

thanks for the update - I already assume it is as you said.

I only wished if it was documented somehow...so one starter like me - would have known
