Are you running Novell Groupwise, Hummingbird PowerDocs or other document
management service?

Groupwise is installed, but, not running. Should I remove it?

Hi Richard,

If you do not use GroupWise for document management, and no other program
for document management you can eliminate the problem by following the steps
below:

1. Perform a search on your workstation and find a file called ODMA32.DLL.
2. Once found, rename the file to ODMA32.OLD

This should eliminate the issue, however GroupWise has a peculiarity that it
still likes to register itself with the operating system that it is the
default document management system. You can edit the registry and remove
the reference to ODMA there is you like.

1. Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT and then click OK.
2. Navigate to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ODMA32 key.
3. Highlight the key, and then select Registry, export registry file (this
will make a back up of this key for you).
4. Now delete the key.

This will completely eliminate that message that you are receiving in
WordPerfect. Looking at your post, I do not believe you are using any
document management software, so performing the above two steps would be the
best path to a resolution of your issue.

Regards,

Drummond

Thank you for the information, Drummond. As I am not using Groupwise at
the moment I have removed it. I shall be using in the future, so I will
keep your notes and use them then.

Thanks.
