Dear All,

After running the steady-state analysis for my model, I find the
the following information in Results > Stability tab.

KINETIC STABILITY ANALYSIS

The linear stability analysis based on the eigenvalues

of the Jacobian matrix is only valid for steady states.

Summary:

This state 's stability is undetermined.

Eigenvalue statistics:

Largest real part: 0

Largest absolute imaginary part: 0

0 are purely real

0 are purely imaginary

0 are complex

0 are equal to zero

0 have positive real part

0 have negative real part

stiffness = 0.00000

time hierarchy = 0.00000

Fold bifurcaton test functions (standard, bifurcation discovery tool): 0.00000, 0.00000

Hopf bifurcaton test functions (standard, bifurcation discovery tool): 0.00000, 0.00000

Oscillation indicator: 0.00000

I'm not sure if "This state 's stability is undetermined." means there is an issue with the model.

Could someone please explain this a bit?

I would be happy to share the model if someone can please have a look.

Thanks a lot,

Deepa

Hello Deepa,

It seems that you do not have a steady-state thus the analysis you see
is invalid as state in the first sentence.

Thanks,
Stefan

Hello Stefan,

In the first tab, it is given  A steady-state with given resolution was found (kindly see the snapshot below).
I was thinking the concentrations reported here are the steady-state concentrations. But I'm not sure
if this is the correct steady-state since the stability analysis shows the state is invalid.

I'll share the model privately. Could you please have a look?
I'm not sure if there are other issues that I should look into.

Thanks so much for your time and attention,
Deepa

Hello Deepa,

To see the stability analysis you need to turn it on in the steady
state task by checking the appropriate box.
