Joomla - SSL

I've just installed the Joomla 2.5 plugin - can I use this with SSL.

I can't see any settings related to SSL?

The Google Analytics code it http.

Is it ok for me to remove the Google Analytics code?  As I have already installed the new universal code in my template?
