Intermittent key problem today?

Today we are getting the 'This api key is not valid' message intermittently for a site where it was previously working reliably. It seems to be at random, about 50% of the time, for the same site using the same API key.

Maybe there are some faulty servers on the apikeys.civiccomputing.com domain?

Can someone from Civic please check?

I'm also getting the same behaviour for 45bb3336b153552c38df78780f0161f55cb4a163

These keys were registered recently and I'm using the v7 script, but I did briefly try downgrading to v6 earlier today to see if it would resolve the issues we have with v7 (see my earlier post on 27 June). However I discovered that the API key was not valid for v6, so I switched back to using the v7 script.

Is it possible that querying the API key against the wrong version has temporarily corrupted a cache that you have on one or more of your servers?

Hi Julian,

We have cleared all server side cache relating to your apikeys to be on the safe side. If this didn't fix it, please make sure that you are using the apikeys on the same domains you have linked them to, and that you are using them with the correct version of the Cookie Control script, ie a v7 apikey will only work with the v7 script, otherwise you will get this error.

Yes, clearing your cache seems to have cleared the issue for us.
