There are lots of problems with Cookie Control.

For example, if the STYLE_BAR setting is used, and the title text is too long, and the browser is resized, this is what one can get:

The same thing happens on a smartphone.

Furthermore, the Cookie Control top bar doesn't appear at all under Internet Explorer 11, Opera

Under Chrome the title text is hidden by default even when there is enough space to diplay it.

The geotargeting is spotty, etc.

I spent 65 €  and 8 hours configuring and installing this thing and I'm seriously disappointed...

Hello,

We are sorry you are having problems with Cookie Control. The default title will fit in small enough screens (down to 768px). Below that it will render in its mobile form. If you want to put a title that's much longer than that, you will need to restyle the widget a bit so that it fits. I can see at the moment you use a smaller title, but if you still want to use a lengthier one you 're welcome to paste it here, and I 'll try to advice how you could style the widget so that it fits (and possibly wraps in two lines).

I could not reproduce the problem you mention in IE11 or Opera.

About geotargeting, we update our database periodically to correctly identify most IPs, but still, there will be IPs that are incorrectly recorded. IP geotargeting cannot be 100% accurate, but it does work on most cases. If you see the widget appearing when it shouldn't could you please send us the current IP of that device?

Cookie Control doesn't appear for the following IP: 213.135.240.246 (LU). Luxembourg is enabled in the config.

In an online internet marketing forum I visit, people in the US did see the the cookie control and people in France and the UK didn't see it. I don't have their IP's.

I have now changed the config for the smart phone to display the triangle widget instead of the bar widget.

But when I tested the bar widget on a smart phone (iPhone 5) only the "Cookie Control" icon and text were displayed, nothing else.

I honestrly don't know why you see this. It works normally for me above 780 pixels, and it's only below that that I see the mobile version. I checked on chrome in ubuntu, windows and linux:
