Cookie Control Bar Not Showing

Hi,

Just configured the cookie consent bar, downloaded the code and placed it before the </body> tag on my site www.thediyworld.co.uk but when I upload it the bar does not show. I don’t get any error messages.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Dave,

Had a look at the code of your site.

You have this in your code:

script src="/PATH_TO_COOKIE_CONTROL/cookieControl-6.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

The "PATH_TO_COOKIE_CONTROL" needs to be updated to the path that you have uploaded the script at your site.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, because I am not familiar with this script I’m unclear on how to act on your instructions. Have removed PATH_TO_COOKIE_CONTROL but it's not made any difference. Can you be more specific please?

Hi Dave,

When you got your api key you were also asked to download the cookie control js and upload it to your site.

Once you upload it you need to replace "PATH_TO_COOKIE_CONTROL" with the location you uploaded the script at.

The error only seems to be using Firefox browser (beta) on my tablet
