Mark showed me how to clean lens in vertical head and we replace one broken mirror and one scratched mirror. Then some time was spent on focusing and aligning.

when using laser the power should now be even across the table.

we tested with cardboard and found settings of F3000 and S50 to work fine

The head should always be set about 9mm above your job surface, this will ensure a finer cut than previous, and you will not faster cut speeds.

Please post successful cutting combinations to this list and see if we can find the note book for the machine
Note:- mat / thickness / colour

Nice one Rob! Great news. I'll be using it a bit over the next while so I'll write down all my successful settings. Before I had to artificiality bump power or drop feedrate as the laser got more than about 200mm from the origin.
