Recycle HTC Desire HD Screen

Hi;

Before I throw it in the bin, I have an old HTC Desire HD that was water damaged (no longer charges or powers on). It's been sat in a draw for a good few years.

Can this screen be hacked to use a a display for say a Raspberry Pi? Not worried about touch screen in particular even just as a display?

Hi Bill,

I would think highly unlikely, unless you can find a spec sheet for that display and a compatible controller. It may be possible to build one
