Pew Research Center is hiring computational social scientists. If you have any students you could refer us to that might be a good fit for these positions, please let us know. The positions are briefly described below along with direct links to our careers site with the full job descriptions. Computational Social Scientist
Computational Social Scientists are adept at extracting critical takeaways from complex analyses, and articulating them with concise prose and compelling visualizations. A qualified candidate must have PhD level research design along with data management and statistical analysis skills. Data Labs Fellowship
The fellowship is offered as a one year program that provides incumbents with an opportunity to learn about and work with industrial data science tools. Fellowship participants will be responsible for conducting an original research project that complements the Data Labs research agenda. They will also contribute to ongoing Data Labs research projects. Qualified candidates must have a PhD level research design experience along with data management and statistical analysis skills.
