Hi Folks,

Email-links (mailto) in Chrome doesn't open Evolution i use, but
KMail (i don't use) in Kubuntu 16.04 LTS.

Chrome is set as the Standard-Browser: Klicking Hyperlinks in Evolution,
for example, opens Chrome.

Things, i have still configured:
KDE System settings -> Default Applications -> Email-program: Radiobutton
to "Use another": evolution %U

Installed gconf, then: / -> desktop -> gnome -> url-handlers -> mailto ->
command: evolution %U (enabled: yes, needs terminal: no)

It doesn't work. Has someone an idea, how to solve this problem?

Greetings
Don

Just to test. What happens if you start Chrome in the console. Does it
reports something, if you click on the link?

Whow, nice idea! First i get this:

bollwitz@bollwitz-desktop:~$ google-chrome
[2857:2857:0615/202451:ERROR:sandbox_linux.cc(334)] InitializeSandbox()
called with multiple threads in process gpu-process

Then i klick the mailto-Link and get following output:

kf5.kio.core: "preferred service for x-scheme-handler/mailto"

"KMail Kernel ETM"

I suspect, the problem is shown in the first line:

kf5.kio.core: "preferred service for x-scheme-handler/mailto"
"org.kde.kmail"

But I don't know how to change the x-scheme-handler to "Evolution"

Maybe someone in the german newsgroup de.comp.os.unix.apps.kde could
help? I don't know how to change the handler.
