Stix fonts rel. 2.0 and latex

I see that STIX consortium has just released the new version of stix fonts. Will there be soon a new package for using such fonts (new metrics etc) in latex documents? (Of course my question is for the selected few who know about such things....). Could I use them with the old packages?
