This is a list of contact addresses for various companies and
individuals who offer Acorn related products and services.
The list is NOT for companies or individuals to advertise
their products or services.
The entries in this list have been separated out into several
categories (eg. the 'major' companies from the smaller
companies). The main qualifying factor for getting in the
first section is being a registered developer. If you take
umbrage with the way I've categorised you or your company,
then feel free to tell me so.
The normal policy of this list is not to include email
addresses without agreement from the company concerned. This
is to ensure that private mail addresses are not bombarded with
unwanted messages.
Please note that email addresses are liable to change, so
bear in mind that, if you are using an old version of this
list to contact a company, and not getting any response, the
address(es) might have changed. If you are having no joy
and are desperate, try sending an email to:
postmaster@<so-and-so>
..and ask for the correct address.
If you have any additions, corrections or amendments, or know
of other companies on Internet which are not listed here,
please get in touch with me. Please state whether or not
you are a registered developer (if not obvious).

my posting corrected groups will have irritated some of you and there may be
a few quibbles about what I've put where, HOWEVER the idea is that it's
more important to stop this poor addressing NOW than just stop reading the
group altogether. I would ask everyone not to followup or reply to any
badly grouped msg here in a helpful way because that just encourages people.
Point out to the authors the error of their ways by all means, and issue
answers only as and when they repost to correct group.

Well *excuse me* Donald for being so damn inconsiderate.
I originally only used to post this on c.s.a, however people
who only used to read c.s.a.tech asked me to cross post
it there as well. And then a few months ago someone
suggested it would be a good idea to post it to c.s.a.announce
as well. Finally with the advent of the new groups, I
added c.s.a.misc as well. Eventually when the old groups
are rmgrouped, I will lose c.s.a and c.s.a.t.
I realise of course, that my poor wee list, nowhere near
approaches the outstanding usefulness of the faq and ftp
lists, but I don't see you complaining about them being
crossposted to all three groups.
Summary: it's a service dickhead, be more polite in future
if you have a query about this _free_ _unpaid_ service.
