I'm using samba 2.2.2 on solaris 2.7 .
As i did the security-domain. I joined suceessfully in my domain. But
whenever i try to login from windows nt (using domain user id not
unix).it give error
I check in samba log.smbd file:
smbd/password.c:domain_client_validate(1554)
domain_client_validate: could not fetch trust account password for
domain
But it's working fine if i enter the unix user id and password instead
of windows.
Is there are way to make it trusted with windows PDC.
Please help me out.As it is really urgent.
Regards,
RB
If you've made samba the PDC then you MUST use an account on the samba
system to login to the domain.

Ok, let's just check things:
You've configured Samba to use the domain controller for authentication?
You've added the Samba machine to the Windows NT domain (and it shows up in server
manager)?
You've created local (unix) accounts for those people you want to access the Samba box?
