The hardware (processing, storage, and connectivity at
reasonable prices) isn't the challenge it was back in
the 1980s (or even the 1990s).
If only there was a reliable stable cost-effective OS
and toolset capable of being at the core of this stuff,
in the places where neither an embedded OS nor offsite
cloud could cover enough, er, bases, and where the
big-name big-dollar Enterprise Apps people are, well,
let's not go there just now, eh.
