Folks -
I have gone back and rototilled AnalytiCalc / AnalyRIM (spreadsheet and DBMS)
and gotten a version that runs on Linux. It has very very few dependencies on
Linux though (basically, to return it to VMS, just change the code that
looks in /DK/ to code to look in DK:; look for '/' and 'D' and 'K' .
Otherwise it is I believe rather pure (though an old dialect as the code was originally written in 1982). I found a bunch of dependencies in it which assumed storage could hold no more than 32767 cells, and removed them. (The
limit is now 32 bit cell ID). You can edit acinit.prm to alter parameters.
The code can be grabbed from
http://www.gce.com where you can just grab what
is called the Linux version. This will get you a zip file with the source code, Linux binaries (for amd64) and documents.
Notwithstanding any copyright notices, you may use the code subject to either BSD distribution license or GPL V2 provisions.
If anyone finds fixes or edits please share them with me.
