I have been using Eudora Lite for some time without a hitch. I
recently downloaded Eudora Pro for evaluation and have had problems
since.

I can send small e-mail messages with out a hitch, as soon as I try to
send something that a little larger than normal I get a erro when the
message starts to be sent. The following erro is noted:

Error Writing to Network

Cause: Connection reset by remote side (10054)

Any suggestions?

Try:
Could not connect to "'Host Name'". Cause: Connection

reset by remote side (10054)

Sending mail functions correctly, but this message appears when retrieving
new mail. This seems to occur if using Eudora Pro 32 with the Trumpet
Winsock 32.

Use Windows 95 Dial Up Networking instead, and it should fix the problem.

I am having the same problem. Eudora Light sent mail okay but after I
upgraded to Pro I have not been able to send anything more than a few
lines. Not just with Eudora but Netscape Mail and Agent also will
not send large email. I am using the Win 95 dialer and I do not have
Trumpet Winsock.

I am also having trouble posting large news. The Eudora web site had
some suggestions to fix problems with sending large mail such as
increasing the network timeout, toggling the asynchronous winsock call
settings and decreasing the buffer size and disabling network cache
but none of these suggestions worked. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.

Regards.
