Are people making millions doign stuff that lisp can do with normal files?
wtf
what do lispers do with big data? stock market fast trade needs? accounting for hedge funds?
working at bank now and WOW megaton of java vmware oracle mixed with c engines and other crazy stuff
now data lakes comingup
mesos
and clients nuking performance with ad hoc queries to follow industry trend of looking back at historical data to find new trading strategies to maximixe profits n stuff
woaaaa!!
It seems lips which can handle HUGE complexity can be used to make TONS of money in the big data sphere?!!
