Lisp is in the news: in the latest issue of the Communications of the ACM, Lisp (in the guise of Racket) makes an appearance. The article ("A programmable programming language", by a number of core Racket developers) can be found here:

The title is a Lisp slogan we've probably all heard. Macros play an important role in all that, certainly. In the article (and accompanying video!) you can read (and watch) about Racket's take on that mantra.
