Problem with win3.xx version of java enabled netscape 3

Hi,
I am having a problem getting the java enabled netscape 3 for win3.xx to
run applets loaded locally. There is no problem when applets are loaded
from the web.

The error is ...

Any ideas why? (The applets run perfectly with appletviewer or IE)
