IBM NOTES BROWSER PLUG-IN FOR INTERNET EXPLORER

The IBM Notes Browser Plug-in allows Internet Explorer (32-bit) or Firefox web client users to access their native Notes applications directly from the web. Incredibly as it sounds this feature allows Notes applications to be run from within web browsers on Windows 32/64 bit desktops! As for security it still requires a Notes ID file and native ACL security applies. If the Notes app runs on Notes 9/8 Basic or 7/6 clients then it will work fine with the browser plug-in. Notes standard client (Eclipse) features are not supported. The Notes Browser Plug-in will not work if the Notes 9 client is currently running.
