I have a cisco 7000 router which doesnt go through the complete boot
sequence. It shows the following messages during bootup and keeps
repeating the same again and again :
----------------start of error message-----------------
System Bootstrap, Version 11.1(4), SOFTWARE
Copyright (c) 1986-1994 by cisco Systems
RP1 processor with 65536 Kbytes of main memory
F3: 8616+3883445+165008 at 0x1000
Self decompressing the image :
#################################################
################################################################################
###################################### [OK]
%SCHED-2-WATCH: Attempt to set uninitialized watched boolean (address 0).
-Process= "*Sched*", ipl= 7
-Traceback= 17D7BA 1DE532
Exception: Level 4 at 0x127A7C (PC)
Error in rxboot, trying ROM
--------------------end of error message------------------
I found the pertinent page on the cisco website for this error:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/63/scheduler_12422.html#SCHED-2-WATCH
but could not make much sense out of it.
I broke the boot sequence with a CTRL+break but I dont know what to do
after this. Can you please let me know ?
thanks,
ravi
