Things to check:

Is database in single user mode?
What # of user connections are defined for the server?

Hello,

Any error message over 50000 is a user defined error message and was
probably implemented by another programmer. You can use Enterprise Manager
to check all error messages in the system. Go to Server, Messages, and
search for the message in question.

Verify that the database is not set to single user mode. You can so this
using Enterprise Mansager. Right Click on the database and choode edit.
The options tab has several options, one of them is single user mode.

Good Luck,
