I was wondering if it is possible to run AutoCad r12 for SunOs 4.1.1 under Solaris 2.4? I just installed Solaris 2.4 on a test machine and was trying to run AutoCad on it. AutoCad loads up but won't open a drawing. I believe this has to do with the diferences in Open Windows 3.4. Does anyone have any experience with AutoCad under the SunOs or Solaris operating systems. I would appreciate any help.

Although Solaris has a "compatability mode" for SunOS applications,
AFAIK you must use the Solaris version of ACAD for your Solaris
operating system machines. A lot changed from SunOS to Solaris (not
just the window system).

Good luck!
