There’s a saying that says that “it’s the little things that count.” In some instances this is very true. For example, to feel more pleasure or to feel better about yourself whether it be physically or mentally you don’t really have to go out of your way in big ways to accomplish this. In fact, going out of your way to feel better would defeat the purpose. It’s okay to sometimes feel instant gratification in the smallest of ways.
Here are 10 ways to make yourself feel more pleasure by pampering yourself:
1. Slip off your sky scraping high stilettos, toss your cold bottle of water on the floor and roll it back and forth with your feet. It’s a pretty magnificent feeling.
2. If you have a carpet, drop to the floor and just lay there staring at the ceiling for a few minutes or more. It’s absolutely blissfully relaxing. This can also be done in a nice and soft patch of grass in a park or your backyard.
3. You’re lips are one of the most sensual body parts you have. Run the tip of your fingers ever so lightly across your lips. You’ll be feeling sensual in just seconds as you make the connection.
4. Read your favorite magazine while laying in bed. Flip your pillow to the other side so you can feel the cool side right against your cheek.
5. Grab a little chunk of your hair, hold it at the ends as if it was a paint brush and sweep it against your neck and collarbone. The ticklely sensation will be really relaxing.
6. After using a public, ladies room- take your time washing your hands with soap and warm water rather than rinsing off real quick and dashing out the door. This little time alone with the warm water will put you at ease for whatever waits for you outside. (This does not apply to filthy restrooms.)
7. Caress the the back of your knees starting from the top of your calves. This is may also cause you to feel a tickle but it might also slightly turn you on.
8. Put a soft sweater over your office chair and rub your forearm, wrists and elbows against the soft fabric. This is super soothing especially before an important meeting at work
9. This weekend when you head out for some good times, rock out your fave leather jacket with nothing underneath. (Of course zip it up.) The killer fabric against your skin will make you feel extremely confident as well as naughty.
10. Before you begin blow drying your hair, put a couple of drops of peppermint oil on your hair. Then turn your head from side to side to get a whiff of the minty aroma. This will also cause an instant rush of bliss.
So you see, to feel better, more pleasure and for some self pampering you don’t always have to take a holiday or some other extravagant endeavor. Try any of the tips mentioned above and you’ll see how you can acquire some blissful relaxation without putting to much effort.
