Hey folks!

I'm looking to pick up a drone of some kind that can carry enough weight to do autonomous navigation within a geofence, carry a camera and lift maybe 1/2lb of equipment - but I have zero experience with this field.

Is there someone around that'd be up for talking me through options (plane?, quadrotor? hexarotor? what brands?) in exchange for a beer or a coffee?

Looking to help some local ranches to use drones to measure the height of grass, which is a big expense for them that I think drones might be able to help with..
