Is CGW going to participate at all in the Barnes and Noble mini maker faire this weekend?

I've been in contact with Lisa LaPorto the community outreach manager and it sounds like they're looking for people and groups to present.  This would be a really good way for CGW to attract new members.

I can talk about this more tomorrow night but if anyone is interested in presenting, it could be very low key - Just pictures and discussion of some of our projects and then Q & A.  We might even be able to share a slot (maker redux and CGW).

Discuss.

I applied through the official site but never heard back. The application didn't really seem to fit groups like CGW, and I didn't see anything about presentations or the like. I think it would be cool, but I'm doing a charity event all day Saturday. Any idea when this would be?

There are slots on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon/evening.  She originally told me it would be a 45 minutes to an hour presentation.  I said, "nope."  Now she's telling me 15  minutes + QA is fine.  I think they would love to have any kind of local orgs represented.

I hadn't heard about it. Unfortunately I am out of town.
