Are there any plans to update the LiveCD images to a newer Fedora release?  I'm trying to calibrate a new laptop that needs a newer Linux kernel in order to work properly, but the latest LiveCD on the website is from 2013.

I tried booting Fedora 21 and Ubuntu 14.10 live CDs which do work on the laptop, but I can't get colorhug-client installed on either one.

The Ubuntu packages mentioned on the site at https://launchpad.net/~pmjdebruijn/+archive/gnome-color-manager-release did not install properly, and trying to compile the colorhug-client tarball failed due to dependencies that I couldn't get installed on either OS.

Alternatively, does anyone have any packages available that will are known to work on Fedora 21 or Ubuntu 14.10 that I can just install?

I have a similar problem. My device has just arrived and the Live CD is unusable. It will boot, but the automatic graphical login will fail with something along the lines of "Something went wrong, try to logout again". As I cannot login as root to tail the logs, that's all the information I can provide right now.

When using the colorhug-client (reported as version 0.1.10-1) from within my Debian Wheezy, all I get is "/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.0/usb8/8-2: Invalid read: retval=0x00 [Success] cmd=0x30 (expected 0x30 [get-hardware-version]) len=64 (expected 3)". I suspect the client software is outdated and incompatible with the new device?

An updated Live CD would be very much appreciated.

Yes, I've been regenerating the LiveCDs, but I've not had a chance to
do the release tests -- I'll try to do this next week at some stage.

yum install colorhug-client?

Richard.
