Hi

I am trying to setup and use colddoc for UML diagram.
I got the following documentation-
https://github.com/markmandel/ColdDoc/wiki/Generate-Html-Api-Documentation
https://github.com/markmandel/ColdDoc/wiki/Installation-instructions
https://github.com/markmandel/ColdDoc/wiki/Generate-Eclipse-Uml2-Files

These installation instructions are unclear in above link.
I am using multi server instance.
I have installed UML2 tool plugin in eclipse.
I have downloaded Colddoc. How & where will I use and this setup?
Detailed setups would be helpful.

Regards,
Megha

What exactly is confusing?

They are pretty detailed documented, so more specifics on what you need would be useful.

Wow, that sentence was bad, let me try again:

They are quite well detailed documents. If you could be more specific on what you are confused about, I'd be happy to help.

Hi Mark,

i have downloaded the zip file and put it in desktop.
The document says that i have to add something -

colddoc = createObject("component", "colddoc.ColdDoc").init();
strategy = createObject("component",
"colddoc.strategy.uml2tools.XMIStrategy").init(expandPath("./uml/
colddoc.uml"));
colddoc.setStrategy(strategy);
colddoc.generate(expandPath("/colddoc"), "colddoc");

so where and how will I add this and get the colddoc.uml?
Thanks for ur help.

Actually i want the UML diagram for my code. I am new to this project.
UML diagram will help me better undertsnading.
if You are aware about any other toll that will get me the code
analysis for coldfusion in cfeclpise that would help

Thanks again,
Megha

i have gone through these installation instruction. But i am unclear
as to where it needs to be installed and where to do mappings.
A detailed step by step installation would be useful.
I am using multi server instance of coldfusion.

Thanks,
Megha

I would suggest:

The issues you are facing are pretty basic ColdFusion configuration and usage concepts, so you will need a basic understanding of ColdFusion before being able to use any library.

Hi Mark,

I have copied the colddoc folder under my workspace e.g C:/projects.
Then how and where should I do the mappings.
I am using IIS web server.

Thanks,
Megha

Megha, why not write very detailed steps for step up after you get it running.then give to mark? This maybe useful for other newbies.

Google "ColdFusion mappings".

http://livedocs.adobe.com/coldfusion/8/htmldocs/help.html?content=basiconfig_10.html

add the mapping through coldfusion administrator.

looks like mark has a wiki on github so you can do your detail steps there.
