Entrypoint on module without handlers: shouldn't it be removed?

I've noticed that a lot of core modules, like cborm, have an entrypoint. 

So in any application that use cborm there will be an url "myapp.com/cborm" that will render the default event/view, like on https://www.forgebox.io/cborm

What is the purpose of having this entrypoint on those modules?
