I am currently using CommandBox on a project running ColdFusion 11. We need to implement Solr on the site in question. Is there a way to get the instance of CF11 to recognize Solr or to use CommandBox to run Solr with CF11?

Hi Scott, since things like SOLR or .NET services run outside of the J2EE war and are installed as a separate service, you'd need to grab the installer for it here and install it separately on the machine.

I wish it was more automated than that, but I'm not sure how I'd do it since it's all OS-specific and not part of the servlet container.

Thanks!
