Galera Multicast replication by UDP

Hello Everyone

I'm doing a research on using Galera for Traffic Engineering Database (TED) communication in core network for Path computation Elements (PCE)

I need to know, when Galera uses Multicast UDP, how it is reliable?? How it grantees consistency?? what if a packet lost ?? 

In my project, we have dedicated links between PCEs and Consistency and performance is too important

Consistency and packet loss are handled exactly the same way as for TCP.
Galera does not rely on TCP "reliability".
