Unable to change gcache.size in mysql 5.7

I have installed galera MySQL 5.7 and bootstrap mysql with default settings. But when am trying to change galera cache size using below options in my.cnf, it won't change.

Even after restarting few times its default value for galera cache size.

[mysqld]

wsrep_provider_options  ="gcache.size = 10G; gcache.page_size = 1024M;"

Its working fine in MySQL 5.6 version. Is there any changes in MySQL 5.7 ?
