Hi,

After all these months/years, I think it's time to either fix it (and not only this specific issue) or retire it. I'd vote for deleting it as I don't think it's fixable (or not worth fixing if you prefer). In its current state, it's only useful for quickly creating repro cases for GWT issues.

I would probably delete it b/c its feels antiquated and hasn't been to useful for me, besides maybe I'm biased and have been baking my own archetypes. :)

I've been baking a few archetypes, maybe not perfect yet, but I keep improving them. I've also just released the alpha GWTP eclipse plugin and at the moment these archetypes are available through it in the project creation. Which with in seconds a project can be created. ArcBees will make a IDEA plugin with the same nature down the road too. So this is just the beginning of making GWT easier to development at ArcBees.

I aim to get back on archetypes this week since I just got the alpha out the door. I've developed a handy tool to convert GWT projects a bit faster into GWT specific archetypes and I've created a curated directory to deliver the archetypes to the IDE-plugin(s) in development which makes it feasible to include any archetype project as long as it is of good quality and use.

My long term goal is provide faster project start up mechanisms and boiler plate generation if needed to speed up general component creation. I'm making good progress on many layers, especially since Christian took a liking to the project. :)

Anyway, this is probably more than you needed to hear, but I'm pushing ahead to develop more bare bones archetypes with better means of creation and look to build the tools needed to manage the deployment for everyday devs.
