ADAMS COUNTY:
---A WHITE IBIS was reported by Zachary Schiff on June 18 at Lowell Ponds (North side of I-76).  On June 19 the WHITE IBIS was reported by many birders in various locations in the Lowell Ponds (Clear Valley Park) vicinity.  It was reported on both sides of I-76, at Lake Sangraco.  On June 20 the WHITE IBIS was
reported by many birders in various locations in the Lowell Ponds (Clear Creek Valley Park) vicinity.

ALAMOSA COUNTY:
---On June 15 a Ladder-backed Woodpecker was reported near Great Sand Dunes National Park by Marshall Iliff.

ALAMOSA/COSTILLA COUNTY:
---On June 20 on CR CC from Hwy 285 to CR S (112), John Rawinski reported 8 singing male Dickcissels.

BACA COUNTY:
---On June 17, 2 Scissor-tailed Flycathcers were reported at Campo by Norm Erthal.
---On June 17 a Scissor-tailed Flycather was reported by Bill Fink about a mile south of Road M on Road 18 (which is the road to Picture Canyon).
---On Mune 17, 3 Mississippi Kites were reported by Kathy Mihm Dunning at the southern loop of Cottonwood Canyon.

BOULDER COUNTY:
---On June 18 a Black Phoebe and Eastern Phoebe were reported by Chuck Hundertmark fnear the bridge at 75h Street and Boulder Creek.
---On June 15 and June 17, Carl Starace reported a Black Phoebe at crane Hollow Road and Ponds.
---On June 18 a Least Flycatcher was heard by Karen Drozda at 1390 Old St. Vrain Road in Lyons.
---On June 16 a Fox Sparrow was reported by Dave Hallock at Beaver Creek.
---On June 13 a Northern Cardinal was reported at Hawthron Gulch by Ginny Bergstrom.

CHAFFEE COUNTY:
---On June 15, a Barrow’s Goldeneye was reported at Sands Lake SWA by Jeff Guy.
---On June 19, 2 Dickcissels were reported by Jack Harlan on CR 175 near CR 176.
---On June 20 on CR 175 near Salida, Jeff Witters reported 5 Dickcissels.

EAGLE COUNTY:
---On June 17 a Williamson Sapsucker was reported by Louise Glaser above Ruedi Reservoir.

EL PASO COUNTY:
---On June 15 a Hooded Warbler was reported at Bell Grove in Chico Bais ranch by Paul Slingsby.
---On June 12 a Ladder-backed Woodpecker was reported by Monday Birders at Clear Spring Ranch.

GUNNISON COUNTY:
---On June 18 a Black-throated Gray Warbler was reported by Dean and Carmencita Shoud at 11821-14999 CO 133.

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
---On June 17 a Hooded Warbler was reported at Lair O’ the Bear Park by Linda Chittum.
On June 12 a Yellow-billed Cuckoo was reported by David Suddjian flying bewtween riparian stand at Docman Gulch wetlands in sourther South Valley Park.  It ened up in the cottonewoods along the Swallow Trail.

KIOWA COUNTY:
---On June 10 and June 17 a black-bellied Plover was reported by Steve Mlodinow at Sheridan Lake Area (town and playa).

LARIMER COUNTY:
---On June 10, a BAIRD’S SPARROW was reported by Nick Komar at Soapstone Nothern Natural Area.  On June 17, 2 BAIRD’S SPARROWS were reported by Timothy Guida and on June 18, 3 BAIRD’S SPARROW were reported by Dough Ward.  On June 20, Andy Bankert, Jacob Drucker, and Jason Gregg reported Upland Sandpiper, 30 McCown’s Longspurs (N of Pronghorn/Plover intersection) and 4 BAIRD’S SPARROWS (S of Pronghorn/Plover intersection).  They were looking for evidence of nesting of BAIRD’S
SPARROWS and found none.  
---On June 10 Nick Komar reported 5 McCown’s Longspur at Soapstone Prairie Natural Area; 5 were reported by Timothy Guide on June 17; 7 were reported by Dough Ward on June 18.
---On June 14 a Snow Goose was reported by Robert Spaul at Soapstone Prairie Natural Area; on June 18 Doug Ward reported Doug Ward.  Note:  this is likely an injured bird.
---On June 17, 4 Barrow’s Goldeneye were reported by Nick Komar at Laramie River Valley.
---On June 17 a Yellow-billed Cuckoo was reported by Amy Davis at Dixon Reservoir.
---On June 17 in Hidden Valley in Rocky Mountain NP a Yellow-billed Cuckoo was reported by Annette Mathess.
---On June 9, a Least Flycatcher was reported at Devil’s Backbone by Nick Komar and by Annette Mathes and James Vailmont on June 14.
---On June 20 a Least Flycatcher was reported by Bob Righter in Rocky Mountain NP on the east side of Moraine Park.

LAS ANIMAS COUNTY:
---On June 17 a Carolina Wren was reported by Norm Erthal at Cottonwood Canyon CG.
---On June 17 a Mississippi Kite was reported at Cottonwood Canyon CG by Norm Erthal.

MESA COUNTY:
---On June 16 a Grace’s warbler was reported by Mike Henwood at Divide Road/Thimble Point Forest Road #417 area.
---On June 20 in Collbran Job Corp Area, PE Road, Mike Henwood reported Least Flycatcher.

MONTEZUMA COUNTY:
---On June 15 a Veery was reported by Andy Boyce at the Van Riper Field House.
---On June 14 a Lucy’s Warbler was reported by Jan Allen at McElmo Canyon Road J.
---On June 19, 3 Purple Martins (1m, 2f) were reported by Andy Boyce at Taylor Creek Road (upper).

MONTROSE COUNTY:
---On June 17, 2 Lewis’s Woodpeckers were reported by Dennis Garrison on FR 716 bottomland of Meek Ranch south of Crystal Creek Rd several miles S of Crawford.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
---On June 15 a Black Rail was reported by Bill Kaempfer at Nepesta Road March.
---On June 14 a Hooded W
arbler was reported by Chuck Hundertmark at headquarters area of Chico Basin Ranch.
---On June 11 Yellow-throated Warbler continues at Mineral Palace Park in Pueblo reported by Van Truan.  

SAN JUAN COUNTY:
---On June 19 2 Fox Sparrows (Slate Color) were reported by John Malenich at Silverton Golden Horn Campground Road.

SEDGWICK COUNTY:
---On May 24 in town of Ovid, Sue Riffe and Gwen Moore reported 6 Chimney Swifts.
---On May 24 at DePoorter Lake, Gwen Moore and Sue Riffe repored 2 Chimney Swifts and Baltimore Oriole.
---On May 26 at Jumbo Reservoir, Norm Erthal et al reported basic plumaged Red-thoated Loon.

WELD COUNTY:
---On June 17 a Northern Bobwhite was reported near CR 61 and South Platte River by Gene Rutherford.
---On June 15 a Stilt Sandpiper was reported at Beebe Draw by Steve Mlodinow.
---On June 20 at S Platte River and CR 61, Steve Mlodinow reported Baltimore Oriole.
---On June 20 at Windsor Lake, Steve Mlodinow reported 4 Lesser Black-backed Gulls.

Denver Field Ornithologists Field Trips

The DFO Field trip for Wednesday, June 21 will be to Bailey Nest Area, Summit County led by Paul Slingsby (paslingsby AT comcast.net; 303-422-3828)   This trip is full.

The DFO Field trip for Saturday, June 24 will be to Central Plains Experimental Range (CPER) near Pawnee Grassland led by Amber Carver (caramb22 AT gmail.com; 310-493-5721).  This trip is full.

The DFO Field trip for Sunday June 25 will by to Meyer Ranch Park led by Karen Drozda (drozforte AT AOL.com; 303-388-0891).  Directions Meet at 0630 at Home Depot at 4277 S. Eldridge St, Morrison.  If driving south on C-470, take Quincy Ave exit, turn right on Quincy Ave, then take left on West Tufts Ave.  If trail north on C0-4790, you will tur right onto W. Quincy after the exit, then take left West Tufts Ave. Home Depot sign can be seen from the highway.
