A Brant adorned Lake Beckwith between 9 & 10 AM today, before melding into a large flock of Canada Geese where it became harder to find. There's about 6+ inches of snow here but main roads & highways have been plowed, though some may still be icy & snow packed.

This Brant is an adult Black one & a 1st for Colorado City & only the 2nd for Pueblo County.

Margie Joy just called, and said, the Brant was seen from the parking lot by the dam at Lake Beckwith in Colorado City, southern Pueblo County at 12:30pm.
